A group known as NANA PEPEYE fun club of Domeabra in Ashanti region has commended the leadership of Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo for his satisfactory leadership for the good people of Ghana for the past three years in his office.
According to them the NPP government led by the number one gentleman of Ghana has done well for this country and for that matter he deserves another mandate to continue his excellent leadership to make this country greatest in the world.

In an exclusive interview with the media at KNUST at NPP campaign launch, the founder and leader of the group Mr. Mohammed Issah Ababio emphasized that the good leadership from his excellence Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has save this country from poor economic hardship and dumsor era to a very conducive and facilitative enabling environment for each and every citizen of this country. He indicated that the reason why he decided to come out with the association is to organize people together to support Nana Addo’s led government and New Patriotic Party as a whole.
He said Ghanaians should not allow themselves to be deceived by former president Mahama and his NDC because they don’t have anything good to offer Ghanaians they are only interested to come and milk our resources, Mahama is mess and he don’t deserve any other mandate ” he added”.

He said Mahama only brought dumsor to destroy people business and a mistake to give him another mandate will send this country into embarrassment situation from which there is no easy to escape. Nana Addo deserve another four more years to do more for this country his social intervention programs such us planting for food and jobs, free education, one district one factory, free water, one constituency one dollar etc had improve the living condition of every well meaning Ghanaian and he deserve another mandate to do more for us.He emphasized that Ghanaians had carried both the two political parties that is NDC and NPP and which according to him NPP has demonstrated to the good people of this country that they really have the men and those men are the only people who can take Ghana to the promise land.
In conclusion Mr.Mohammed Issah Ababio revealed that Nana Pepeye fun club was formed in 2015 prior to 2016 election with the aim of bringing people on board to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party and the party won the election and in this year election, Nana Pepeye fun club has outline some measures that can help the party to win more votes for Nana Addo and the New Patriotic Party.

Some Aggrieved residents of Amansie South District of Ashanti had revealed that the third coming of the member of parliament in their constituency can never be guarantee due to his incompetence for the pass eight years as a member of Parliament for Manso Adubia constituency.
According to them their member of parliament Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo who who doubles as the member of public accounts committee is a wastage and he don’t deserve any mandate to represent them in Parliament for a competent and hard working person to take over from him to rescue the people of Amansie South constituency.

According to them the member of Parliament of Manso Adubia has never contributed enough to save we the people in Amansie South our roads are in deplorable state some communities are still not having access to electricity and some of the schools in the district are all in bad state and we think our MP has failed woefully in all sectors of the economy so enough is enough he should go and allow someone to come and justify himself we are tired of him.

Addressing the media today at Manso Adubia in a press conference, the conveyor of the group Mr. Peter Awere stated that the people of Amansie South District have been deceived by the leadership of this country,

Stressing that from 2008 to 2016 their Member of Parliament Hon.Yaw Frimpong Addo told them that his government is not in power so all his efforts by the then government is not materialize but thank God today our party is in power but almost four years of his party in power but he can’t even boast himself with a single project so all what we want to tell him is that he lack leadership capacity and we the people in Amansie South District will show him an exit after Dec. 7th general election.

All our roads had becomes death trap, we lack health facilities and at this 21ts century we have over communities who are still not connected into the national grid for electricity power why are we treated like animals in our own country all because our MP is a failure and can’t continue to represent us and waste our time.

It is so pathetic for a district like Manso Adubia that can boast itself with rich mineral resources can not have access for better roads not even a cocoa road project despite our major contribution to the ruling NPP which can never be accepted this time round enough of Hon.Yaw Frimpong Addo he should allow somebody to come and do his best we are seriously suffering here, he stressed.

Mr.Peter Awere emphasized that after a lot of consultations and and interruptions with some of the electorates in the constituency it has revealed to us that Hon.Osei Afoakwa who contested Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo at the just ended constituency primaries but lost to the incumbent MP is the most popular person to restore the hope back to the people. He opined that Mr.Osei Afoakwa lost the election to Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo due to greediness and selfishness on the part of the electorates.

Adding that less than six hundred people can not determine for a population of over ninety thousand peoples so all what we are saying is that Hon.Yaw Frimpong Addo lack ability to send us to the promise land the best person is Mr.Osei Yaw Afoakwa.

Meanwhile Mr.Edward Osei the constituency patron of the ruling New Patriotic Party for Manso Adubia Constituency revealed that the reason why he has decided to declare his support for the candidature of Hon.Osei Afoakwa the independent candidate is that, Mr.Kofi Osei Afoakwa popularly known as Kontrofi has tremendously contributed immensely for the development of the district in so many sectors such us health, education and scholarship for the students.

He said Hon.Kofi Afoakwa built maternity health centre for Manso Adubia hospital, Provision of ultramodern toilet facility for the people of Idaho all in Amansie South District so why should we deny a man with such
a kind heart to lead us as a district.

I want to advised the good people of this community to come together and support Mr.Kofi Osei Afoakwa since he is the best person with full of wisdom that he can use to transform the people of Amansie South.

The three northern regions of the NPP supporters has said they are much disappointed in the NPP leaders and President Akufo-Addo’s led government for abandoning them after working and voting massively for the NPP to gain power in the 2016 elections.

According to the spokesperson for the group, Mr Joseph Amongya, NPP leaders and President Akufo-Addo has abandoned them after using them to win power 2016.

He said as a matter of fact, the three northerners in the NPP did a remarkable achievement by helping in aborting the NDC target of obtaining one million votes in the Ashanti in the 2016 elections. According to Mr Amongya, the target of the NDC per their intelligence was to use voters within the settlers communities to achieve it.

He added that, following their strategy that involved assigning persons who speak a common dialect with their assigned homes so that better understanding of their message could be achieved.

They have then given them one week ultimatum to address their issue or face their wrath

As part of the party slogan in 2020 general election dubbed rescue mission, the leadership of the mainstream opposition National Democratic Congress in Amansie West District of Ashanti is poised to hold a gargantuan clean up exercise at Manso Abore and Kyenkyenase all in Amansie West district.

The exercise which is expected to come off Sep.15, 2020 starting from 6am to 12pm is expected to be witness by the party gurus both within and outside the district. The exercise is part of the party vision to create soundly and enabling environment to all the people it the district and Ghana at large.

The exercise which will be hosted by the idealist and quixotically parliamentary candidate in the ticket of the National Democratic Congress Manso Nkwanta constituency in the person of Alhaji Musa Osmane together with the Manso Nkwanta NDC constituency executives. Cleanliness which they say next to godliness will see the members of the party seriously and actively cleaning and removing all the filthy and grubby substances throughout the principal streets of Abore and Kyenkyenasi.

According to the Manso Nkwanta parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress Alhaji Musa Osmane he said the the future NDC government is poised to rescue the people of this country from Akufo Addo’s government will not only focus on governance but also to avail themselves in a clean and soundly environment to improve the health condition of its citizens. As part of his commitment to clamp down rampant armed robbery among other crimes in the Amansie South district in the Ashanti region, the District Chief Executive (DCE) ,Hon.Clement Opoku Gyamfi has step up efforts to help reduce the crime rate by initiating construction of a police stations in the area to increase the police presence.

Amansie South District which is one of the largest district in terms of land sizes among others with over 200 communities can only boast of police stations at Manson Adubia the district capital.
And in order to help reverse the bad trend, the DCE and the Assembly have initiated construction of a police stations to help protect their people and those who do business in the area.
The short colourful event held at Manso Nkran brought together high profile dignitaries including the traditional rulers, staff from the Asanko Mining company and the citizens within Manso Nkran enclaves.

Addressing the gathering today at Manso Nkran, the Distinct Chief Executive of Amansie South District Hon.Clement Gyamfi stated that the construction of the police station is finance by the Mining development fund which is expected to be completed within three months.

He opined that the issue of security is a share responsibility to each and every individuals in the district which he used the ceremony to appeal to all citizens especially those who are well to do to support the security services. He said the district Assembly was not happy about the numerous cases of armed robbery attacks in the area hence to ensure the safety of the people and many visitors to the area especially those within the mining communities.

The recent shooting and robbery cases in the district is very alarming and the best thing we can do is to beef up the security personals in the district and this project after completion will reduce the insecurity in the district, he said”.

He added that the leadership of His.Excellence Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo the President of this city country is poised to protect every citizen of this country and as the District chief executive, I will make sure that the vision of the president will become a reality. In conclusion Hon. Clement Gyamfi the District Chief Executive of Amansie South district appealed to the electorates to cooperate with the security personals and feed them with the necessary information for them to fish out the law breakers.

On their part, the Manso Adubia District police commander Mr. Felix Akowuah calls for the cooperation and support of the community members.
According to him, security is a shared responsibility and appeal to the citizens to help them with relevant information to ensure effective combat of crime.

Manso Adubia Divisional Commander Mr Felix Akowua on behalf of the Ghana Police service commended the government and the Amansie South District Assembly for what he called timely intervention to facilitate their operation.He said the new police station would make their operation more effective, adding that the award of contract for Manso Nkran police stations would go a long way to facilitate their operations.

The Chief of Manso Nkran Nana Danso Poku ll and his elders of Manso Nkran expressed their profound gratitude to the DCE Hon.Clement Gyamfi ,Manso Adubia District Assembly and NPP government for coming to their aid.

According to Nana Danso Poku, they have lobbied for the police station for several years but Hon.Clement Gyamfi administration under Nana Addo government have come to their aid which they pledged their unflinching support to the government and the contractor to ensure the  timely completion of the project.

The items which included Bags of 5kg Rice , Cooking Oil, Bags of Sugar,Milk ,Lipton Milo and many more shared meant to support muslims to observe ramadan in this period of COVID-19, as the month of ramadan was important on the Islamic Calendar.

Speaking at the colourful presentation ceremony at the three muslims communities at Tetrem in the Amansie West District today, The Project Manager of the BLOJ Company Limited ,Mr Theophilous Sena said we are in a critical period of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore there is a need for supporting the Muslim communities and also to strengthened the Unity and the cordial relations between the mining companies and the people living within their surroundings.

Receiving the items,on behalf of the three muslim communities .Mr Huseini Abdullai said, the donation has come at the right time to supports destitute in the district amid this Ramadan festivity.

He emphasized that this support will ease their burden especially in this Ramadan period and also to put smiles on the faces of the Moslems people in the district.

He urged Stakeholders, and other institutions to do the same to support them as Oliver Twist ask for more they will also ask for more. A team of students from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has won the 2020 national experiential learning competition for the 4th time in a roll. This was said when the team paid a courtesy call on the Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Adom Asamoah. The purpose of the visit was to present the trophy won by the team at the national Enactus competition on 6th -17th July 2020.

Professor Nathaniel Boso, Faculty Mentor of the team, said KNUST has been emerging winners of the national competition since 2017. He announced that KNUST team will represent Ghana in the upcoming virtual ENACTUS World Cup in mid-September, 2020.
Speaking on behalf of the team members, Ms. Georgina Asamoah said that her team presented three innovative projects namely Welfed, ReL, and Effishent.
The Welfed project, she explained, is an agricultural project that educates farmers on appropriate methods used in the preservation of tomatoes. They designed a zero-emission cooling chamber that would keep tomatoes fresh for 15-20 days after harvest.
Speaking on the Remote learning Project (ReL), Ms. Asamoah said that the project focused on providing comprehensive disability-friendly virtual learning platforms for hearing-impaired high school students.
The third project, Effishet, is a partnership between Enactus KNUST and Enactus Mannheim University, Germany. The project will be piloted at Bomso and Weweso Basic Schools.

The project focuses on planting food supplements with hydroponics models to help curb malnutrition among school children.
Mr. Evans Hockey, Programs Manager of Enactus Ghana, noted that Enactus International is a global non-profit organisation, which empowers University students to use their entrepreneurial skills to come up with innovative projects to solve challenges in their communities. Mr. Hockey said that the organisation currently has over 72,000 students with entrepreneurial, values-driven social innovators across 1,730 campuses in 36 countries, and positively impacting the lives of 1.3 million people each year. He said these students are guided by educators and supported by business leaders, teams of students’ conduct need assessments in their community, identify potential solutions to complex issues, and implement community impact projects. This results in communities benefiting from collaboration and fresh innovation, plus students gain valuable experience to advance their personal and professional lives.
Professor Mark Adom Asamoah congratulated the team on their achievements. He urged them to use their innovations for the betterment of the Society and not just the competition. He encouraged them to come out with more innovations and projects that will benefit the country.

The chiefs of Amansie south District of Ashanti have expressed their disappointment on the part of the government over their bad road network in the area. According to them the current government has disappointed them totally after the hefty promise he gave to them right from the beginning of his term in office but as at now all these promises had become failure.

Addressing the media today at Manso Mem Junction the chief of Manso Akwasiso Nana Kwakye Gyima Yeboah ll who spoke on behalf of all the traditional rulers opined that the President of the republic of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo with less than four years under his term of office has done well for the people of Ghana especially those in Amansie South district by giving them the district but as the saying goes oliver can always ask for more there is the need for the government to fix their roads for them.

Nana Kwakye Gyima stated that since UP regime, Manso had been the strong hold of the ruling party but the road network is very terrible which we are using this medium to appeal to the president to come and rescue us from the distress.We the good people of Amansie South District had been committed to this current government since 1992 and we will continue to support the party till thy kingdom but our people too deserves the better so we are appealing to ur leadership to come to our needs, ” chief added.

Throwing more lights into their disappointment Nana Kwakye Gyima Yeboah ll indicated that due to the bad nature of their roads, robbing cases is very high in the area arm robbers are tormenting the lives of the citizens and so many people have lost their life in the hand of these arm robbers so today we are on our kneels to beg his excellence Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to come and rescue the people of Amansie south district.

He said another big challenge is inadequate electricity power to some of their communities stressing that a lot of their communities are are not connected to the national grid and it affecting the development of the district. Our people can no more leave in darkness, enough is enough how can a district that contributes immensely for the development of this country treated like that.
He said if government fail to give attention to their road in a week time they will hit the street for a massive demonstration to register their displeasure.

He stated that Manso is one of the area that produce Gold timber and cocoa but they lack so many developmental projects which is very bad to the people within the enclave.

In conclusion the presiding member of Amansie south district Assembly who double as the Assembly man for Mem electoral area Hon. Kwabena Akuoko Kwarteng said the district is a newly created district with less than four years as it was separated from Amansie west district of Ashanti with a lot of natural resources can not be proud of a one kilometer tarred road isn’t it pitiful?. We are using this medium to send a signal to the president of the republic of Ghana including the other stakeholders of this country to give much attention to us before we register our anger, we are not joking enough of this bad treatment, Hon. Akuoko Kwarteng spit the venom contributions but it can never boast with.

He said the Ashanti regional minister Hon.Simon Osei Mensa promised to give the road to contract but for almost three months to an election the contractor is no where to be found the minister said the road from Mem junction to Agroyesum had been awarded to a contract but as at now we don’t even know the name of the contractor and even you as a media guys look at how you are suffering here but this is how our people going through.

All what we are saying is that we are pleading with the government to give us our shares of the national cake and we will continue to give him our support but if he fails then he should forget us in 2020 election we also deserve better. “He concluded”.

The Kwadaso Constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) inaugurated its Campaign Team as part of the party’s activities towards the 7th December, 2020 general elections.

Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, Parliamentary Candidate of Kwadaso Constituency who doubles as a Co-chair for the Campaign Committee, called on the campaign committee to shoot beyond the moon in the campaign. He termed the constituency’s campaign strategy as “Operation Catch Every Voter Wherever and Whenever You Find Them”. He further made a passionate appeal to the other contestants; Hon. Dr. S. K Nuamah, Mr. Vincent Manu and Madam Josephine Hilda Addo, who lost the opportunity to lead the constituency in the Parliamentary Contest to come on board and equally help the party win massively as he did in the 2016 elections after he lost his bid to represent the constituency. He, in addition pleaded with them to bring their expertise on board to help gear the constituency to a historic victory.

Dr. Kingsley Nyarko also used the occasion to praise President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for their unparalleled competence, especially with the splendid management of the Nation’s economy and the COVID-19 pandemic. He, in addition eulogized the government for the numerous poverty eradication policies undertaken under the regime with special mentions as Planting for Foods and Jobs, Free Senior High Education, NABCO, Digitization of the Economy and others. Nana Marfo, Member of Parliament (MP) of Afigya Kwabre North and Representative from Ashanti Regional Office of NPP followed with an applause and commendation of the constituency executives for their hardwork, commitment and dedication towards the party’s development in the constituency. He, in furtherance lauded the constituency executives for ensuring a peaceful and violent-free election in the just ended heated constituency Parliamentary primaries.

Hon. Marfo admonished everyone to work harder than before so that the party secures at least seventy five thousand (75,000) to eighty thousand (80,000) of the constituency’s votes in the upcoming 7th December elections.

Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyeman, Board Chairman of National Sports Authority and Representative from Ashanti Regional Office of NPP after administering the Oat of Office of the Campaign Committee subsequently noted that the 2020 campaign has begun due to the committee’s inauguration. Hon. Agyenim Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Kwadaso Municipality taking the platform, made a clarion call on the party executives and the entire gathering to embrace peace and hard work. He stated that party faithfuls should constantly look beyond themselves and personal interests, and always consider first the interest of God and entire nation.

Mr. Osei Seventeen, Chairman of the Council of Elders also used the platform to acknowledge everyone for their hard work and tolerance. He urged party members to continue with the emulation of their invaluable dedication and zeal towards the party’s activities in the constituency.
