The Atwima Mponua new patriotic party (NPP) led by the sector Minister of youth and sports, who doubles as MP for the area, on October, 27th organised a health walk and free health screening in the district capital Nyinahin.

The walk recorded an unprecedented massive turn-out in the political history of Atwima Mponua Constituency.

The walk which is to keep members fit and canvases vote in the 2020 elections. The walk which bring together Atwima Mponua NPP old executives, supporters and sympathizers to make unity among them.

The scenes on the streets of Nyinahin last Teusday were approaching to that of National rally where people from 16 regions corners of the country. The crowd was not organised by bussed; they are came from their homes within the Atwima Mponua Constituency.

They were in feeling and expressing overwhelming, Happiness and joyful excitement, sang their party songs, clapped in unison, jogging in a choreography along the principal streets of the District capital, Nyinahin for about four hours nonstop ends at the newly ultramodern sports complex.

All the eminent dignitaries and top-notch personalities spoke in strong affirmation of the good works by the Member of Parliament, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah and President Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo in just 3 and half years.

Addressing the crowd, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, MP and Williams Darko, DCE took the opportunity to reiterate the good works of NPP in the Constituency under their leadership.

The Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon Joseph Albert Quarm has called on supporters of the New Patriotic party within his constituency to stay united and come out with individual’s efforts to work hard to retain the seat for His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo in the upcoming 2020 elections.

He said, people of the constituency can not witness the expected development when failed to promotes unity among themselves.

He declared his full support to the new elected parliamentary candidate who is taking the Mantle from him to help complete all projects started by him to enhance the image of the constituency.

The Executives of the new patriotic party for Manso Nkwanta constituency has launched youth wing campaign team to complement the efforts of the party leadership to help increase the vote for the party comes December 7 election.

The launching comprised with Mammoth Health walk to improve upon their healthy lifestyle.

Performing the inauguration ceremony, the Constituency Youth organiser, Kerteous Agyenim Boateng entreated all party members particularly the youth to bury their differences and work in unity and harmony towards the party victory in the 2020 general election.

He tasked them to campaign to trumpet the achievements of the NPP under on Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo in order to retain power and continue with the good policies and programs.

The parliamentary candidate for the new patriotic party for Sekyere Afram plains constituency in the Ashanti region, Mr Joseph Owusu also known as Odenkyem could not control his tears today over the death of constituency communication officer, Mr Jigiri Alhassan Paul.

According to the constituency chairman of the party, Mr Suleiman Hamidu the deceased involved in motor accident when he had clashed with a tipper truck vehicle at Drobonso and after the incident was sent to Agogo Presbyterian hospital to response to treatment but died on Sunday 25, October 2020.

The late Mr Jigiri Alhassan Paul was very instrumental to the party campaign team for 2020 election with his eloquent in speaking different types of Ghanaian’s languages.

After reported his death to the people of the community some key members of the opposition party ndc were jubilating over his death which has raised suspicious for having hands over it.

Despite the jubilating of members of NDC, hundreds of citizens including, the party executives and supporters, chiefs, students,friends and sympathizers showed their last respect and love to the hard working communicator during his burial service led by the district chief Imam and Muslim brothers and sisters at Nyameama.

The party has constituted a committee to link up with the family to come out with date scheduled to observe his final funeral(ADOWA).

The beneficiaries of Youth in Agricultural and Afforestation program in Ashanti Region, under the Forestry Commission of Ghana, have embarked on one day program in Kumasi dubbed as “Thank You” tour with float exercise in principal street of Kumasi to show appreciation to the President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and the Forestry Commission as a whole.

The float which took off in various communities started from Juaso, Offinso, Kumawu, Nkawie Mampong, New Edubiase, Mankranso and Bekwai district all under Forestry Commission Ashanti Region were ended at Kumasi Jubilee Park where they were addressed by the manager of Ashanti Regional Forestry Commission, Mr Augustine Gyedu and the Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Honourable Osei Asibbey Antwi.

According to Mr Gyedu, the initiative to engaged the Youths in the Afforestation program has been a massive beneficially to the Forestry Commission and the Country at large which has improve the Country Forest system.

Mr Gyedu disclosed that, the Forestry program was able to employ over sixty five thousands(65,000) youths nationwide while Ashanti Region alone had been able to employedTen thousand Youths(10,000).

He disclosed that,the program, apart from creating jobs for Sixty Thousand people, has yielded results. In Ashanti Region, over 3,500 hectares of degraded forest lands in Bekwai, Kumawu, Offinso, Juaso and other district have been planted up with various timber species, including Mahogany, Ofram, Emire, Teak among others.

Again about 1,500 hectares of outside Forestry Reserve areas in Schools, along water bodies, along road sides within open space in Communities including Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) have seen tree planting activities to bring back the Garden City.

Mr Gyedu informed the general public that, seedings stock are in their various District which Ghanaians can received it free of charge. Stressing that the act of restoring forestry in Ghana is a share responsibility between the individuals and the commission which he urged Ghanaians to give helping hand to every activities that will help to revive the forestry in Ghana.

Speaking with Opemsuo news reporter, Adwoah Serwaah Yonkodo the Youth in Afforestation Secretary in Ashanti Region, Emmanuel Osei Aborah, said without the laudable initiatives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ruling government, they will be there in empty handed in a desperate manner but the initiative has come to release a lot of financial constraints in their lives.

He said, the Government deserved more commendation which have made them come out to show appreciation to the President and the Ghana Forestry Commission while they are calling for permanent job opportunities in the Forestry Commission.

Emmanuel Aborah disclosed that, due to what they have benefited from the “Youth in Afforestation program”, they have endorsed the President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for another term of Office.

However,the Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Honourable Osei Asibbey Antwi also addressed the Youth in Afforestation beneficiaries appreciating their efforts.Hon Osei Asibey added that the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly had been able to benefited a lot from the afforestation program adding that the assembly will continue to work with the forestry commission so far as the beautification of the city is concern.

The Deputy Minister of Energy who double as member of parliament for Afigya Kwabre south constituency in the Ashanti region, Hon William Owuraku Aidoo has commended the district chief executive for Sekyere Afram district who double as PC for NPP, Hon Joseph Owusu, a.k.a Odenkyem for overwhelmed contribution towards developmental projects in the district.

Describing him as game changer who has brought facelift to the community in his few years in office as Dce has transformed the lives of the people in the areas of education, roads, water project, mobile networks, health care delivery,security and agriculture.

Hon. William Owuraku Aidoo was speaking to chiefs and people of Issakura when he launched rural electrification project to be connected to twenty communities in the district.

He used the occasion to appealed to the people to consider his commitment and vote massively for npp and Hon Joseph Owusu as member of parliament to continue with good policies.

The member of parliament for Afram plains constituency of Ashanti region, Hon Alex Adomako Mensah has said that, the reason behind his failure to offer jobs opportunity to his people especially the youth in the constituency is simple because no one in the whole constituency has even acquired senior high school certificate to qualify for any job opportunity in government as compels to other constituencies where a lot of people are graduates.

But what do we see today, when our fridges are imported, deliberately they are ceased by customs officials at port Which is frustrating and has rendered most of our importers and sellers jobless.

What we are asking the government is, if they are not able to honour their promises they should allow us to do our business which has affected the lives of about 100,000 people jobless nationwide directly or indirectly.

The Parliamentary Candidate for Kumawu constituency in Ashanti Region Mr.Kwaku Duah has revealed that he will preferred to spend money on infrastructures that can bring values for his people rather than given it to delegates to seek for an election.

According to him the people in Kumawu deserves better than what they are seeing today but the leaders who suppose to work hard to improve the lives of the people are now given it to the delegates making live very difficult for the people in Kumawu constituency.

Speaking to the media in an interview Mr.Kwaku Duah added that it is so pathetic from their Hon member of Parliament Mr. Philip Basoah could not able to render accounts on one dollar per constituency which he challenge the MP to come out and tell the people of Kumawu what they have done with his four million dollars. All our schools and toilet projects are in deplorable state but the money which suppose to be use on these projects are no where to be found so where is the money.

In conclusion Mr.Kwaku Duah debunk an allegation made by the Hon. Member that he is an NDC member which according to him such allegation is childish statement from a myopic mixed MP stressing that he contributed immensely for the party prior to 2016 election when the likes of the then running made of the party Dr.Mahamadu Bawumia, and Anthony Karbo together with Sir John came to US to raise money to support the party.
