The member of parliament for Afram plains constituency of Ashanti region, Hon Alex Adomako Mensah has said that, the reason behind his failure to offer jobs opportunity to his people especially the youth in the constituency is simple because no one in the whole constituency has even acquired senior high school certificate to qualify for any job opportunity in government as compels to other constituencies where a lot of people are graduates.
The member of parliament was responding to the complains coming from the constituents for not linking them to employment opportunity in other sectors like police,milliary, Immigration, health and other sectors ever since assuming office as member of parliament.
He said this during the visit of the running mate to H.E John Dramani Mahama, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang at Drobonso.
He expressed worry about high illiteracy rate among the people in the district has reduced his ability to performance well.
