BLOJ AND ASANKO GOLD MINES DONATES TO THREE MUSLIMS COMMUNITIES TOWARDS RAMADAN .

The Asanko Gold Ghana Limited incollaboration with BLOJ Comapany Limited in the Amansie District of the Ashanti Region has donated food items running into Fifty thousand Ghana Cedis GHC50,000.00 to the three Muslims Communities in the Amansie west District .

Items

The beneficiaries communities are Tetrem Zongo,Mpatuam Zongo and Esaase Zongo.

The items which included Bags of 5kg Rice , Cooking Oil, Bags of Sugar,Milk ,Lipton Milo and many more shared meant to support muslims to observe ramadan in this period of COVID-19, as the month of ramadan was important on the Islamic Calendar.

Speaking at the colourful presentation ceremony at the three muslims communities at Tetrem in the Amansie West District today, The Project Manager of the BLOJ Company Limited ,Mr Theophilous Sena said we are in a critical period of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore there is a need to support the Muslim communities and also to strengthened the Unity and the cordial relations between the mining companies and the people living within their juridictions.

is also one of their social cooperate Responsibility for the people living within their Juridictions,
Mr Theophilous Sena use the opportunity to urged the residents to adhere the social distancing protocol in order to protect themselves from the Covid 19 Pandemic.

However Mr Richard Ofori ,
the community development coordinator, Who came to represented Asanko Gold Ghana Limited at the colourful presentation also said ,the Company will continue to support the residents living in the mining areas in order to smoke in peace pipe in the community.

He therefore urged our muslim community to used their Ramadan fasten to pray to the Allah to shower His blessing and Heal our Land from the covid 19 pandemic.

Receiving the items,on behalf of the three muslim communities .Mr Huseini Abdullai said, the donation has come at the right time as most vulnerable people during Ramadan.
He expressed that this support will ease their burden especially in this Ramadan period.

He urged Stakeholders, and other institutions to do the same to support them as “Oliver Twist ask for more they will continue to ask for more.
